Ses Salines – Cala Jondal - Porroig - Atlantis - Cala Comte
Ses Salines
Ses Salines was declared a Natural Park in 1995 due to its extraordinary ecosystem characterised by a richness of fauna and flora.
The legendary Salines beach is one of the reference points for anyone who decides to travel to Ibiza. It's historical salt bridge – where the Salines boats have been picking up their merchandise – were here long before any of the current beach clubs or restaurants.
With the island of Formentera in front of you and it's clear blue water, this beach is the best place to drop anchor and enjoy all the activities it has to offer.
Near to Ses Salines you have a series of small coves to give you a bit of privacy away from the crowds. The easterly winds which blow on the Ibiza throughout most of the summer means this bay remain completely tranquil, ensuring that anchoring is easy and your stay on board is comfortable. In this beach you can also find a variety of restaurants with dinghy service to go down.
Next to Ses Salines there is a bay called Cap des Falcó, which only can access by boat and it's amazing. Blue water and beautiful cliffs. If you go by land, you have the other side of the views, amazing views from the top of the mountain, but you don't have access at sea.
Cap des Flacó
Can be a real blessing when all the other beaches are packed with people. The Es Codolar beach, would not necessarily be your top choice for a lazy day at the beach due to the shingle. But, for that very reason it is less frequented by bathers throughout the summer.
With an easterly wind coming in, the beach is perfect because the sea remains completely still making it the ideal place for practising water sports such as paddle boarding.
Cala Jondal
Porroig is a beautiful bay, even if you go by land it worth to go because it's not too many tourist. There are fishermen's houses and not too many houses.
To go by boat, it's perfect as it's a closed bay, you can stay really relax because of the flat sea and there is no restaurants. So it's perfect also to do paddle surf or snrokeling.
In the same bay you can find Es Cucó beach, really nice beach and small.
If you go by land, the best way to arrive is following Sant Josep de sa Talaia road, taking the detour to Cala Jondal, and it's driven by Es Xarcu.
Atlantis is not a beach either a cove, it's a magical and unique place.
We call magic because of the strange rock formations caused by the hand of men. The cuts in the rock have also created holes under the sea level, which are filled with water from rain and waves forming some incredible natural pools.
It's not easy access by land, if you go there you will stay all day as it will take to go there 45 minutes more or less. So you should go with comfort shoes.
Otherwise, by boat it's really easy to access. You can anchor really close and get swim.
Cala Comte
Platges de Comte o Cala Conta - in spanish - is one of the most beautiful cove to visit in Ibiza, which is very accessible in all ways. Cala Comte has fabulous views to a little island near Ibiza's coastline, beautiful turquoise water and several areas to explore around.
The shallow water is safe and also with crystal water, it makes like a swimming pool. In high season the beach is very popular and normally it's quite crowded. Otherwise, if you come by boat it's a really good choice as normally there is no so many boats.
Cala Comte is also one of the best beaches to catch the sunset, from land and boats dropping anchor further out to see the soothing spectacle.
Near to Cala Comte there is a small cove, called Cala Escondida, where you can reached from the top of the cliffs by steps hewn into the rock.
